Funny, the first thin...What a wonderful exhibition. Funny, the first thing I noticed in the photograph was the wallpaper. I have a thing for old wallpaper. And, "crazy quilts' were by far the most popular "singular type" quilt in the Maine documentation as well. They ran the gamut from plain wool to extremely ornate. And, we found it interesting that they were just as prevalent in the rural areas as in the big towns and cities. It was simpler than wearing today's shaper garments.
