With use and ...The original quilt is 19th century. With use and wear, it needed repair or conservation (2 different approaches). It was repaired by someone in the 20th century with yellow fabric over the original red. Another quilt with a story...but if the quilting ...<br />Another quilt with a story...but if the quilting is exquisite and the piecing a challenge...was it made by the same person.... I wonder?? Or maybe by two? A young daughter learning to make a quilt (the piecing) and a mother or older sister doing the quilting...?
