Front Royal Part 2

More quilts on the wall...same shop as Front Royal Part 1.

I couldn't get any closer to the red applique, the furniture was piled all around it.

I could tell it was hand appliqued and hand quilted.

This one is vary nicely hand quilted.

The red and yellow are prints.

This is a block close up.

The border has beautiful feathers.

Irish Chain on a bench in the backroom.

Block detail.

Have a great week - thanks for stopping by.

It hurts me to see how that red quilt is being displayed. Ouch! I absolutely love the Irish chain quilt! Those colors are so pretty!

I love the way the yellow forms a lattice. I don't do that setting type often, I should try it more.

I love that red and white quilt with the gold sashing. Very nice. And an Irish Chain is always a winner. Beautiful quilts.

Didn't you just want to rescue them all and give them a good home!?

The red & yellow (the one with the lattice look) is a very graphic looking design. The maker did well.

The yellow and red quilt is most unusual. I love the simplicity of the design. Did you take none of them home?

The geese, Odd Fellows-ish, quilt is so cool. The sashing is so strong, but not overpowering somehow. Thanks for sharing your photos!
