    1. Anne Olsen bought the antique quilt top and did the hand quilting in 2003. The completed quilt was then donated to the museum. She's a wonderful supporter of RMQM.

  10. I'm just blown away again by these jaw dropping quilts! That reverse applique is gorgeous - imagine having the patience for that! I love the quilting in the broken branch quilt - the border treatment I will have to study further. You take such wonderful close pictures to enjoy the fabrics and the stitching - thanks so very much!

  13. My favorite is the fabrics in the Oak Leaf and Reel. I would like about 4 yards of each, please!! Lol. Gorgeous collection of red & green quilts. Thanks for your pictures of these beauties. I saw that you are teaching in Virginia ( I follow Aunt Reen). You had some truly nice comments on her blog!! Wish I was headed that way!! Good Luck on your teaching travels.
