Machine quilted - by me |
I made this quilt for the Fourth of July several years ago. I've shared it before, I hope you don't mind.
It was a Free To Use pattern from Windham for a Mary Koval Coverlet fabric line.

Backed with a coverlet reproduction fabric from the same line |

The flag design is a good use of those fabrics. I had a couple pieces at one time. Never would have thought of the flag.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you shared this again as I hadn't seen it before! It is just lovely. Beautiful fabrics. Happy Independence Day!
ReplyDeleteIt still looks great. Happy 4th to you.
ReplyDeleteWe remember it as the day Vicksburg fell and I am from there.
It's beautiful! Happy 4th to you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt! Funny, nothing is closed today or Monday, so not a long weekend here in Central Oregon.
ReplyDeleteHoliday for DH and quite a few service related businesses are closed here.
DeleteI love it!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of flag quilts lately, but nothing like this. It is a beautiful interpretation. I love the way the red prints enhance the stripes. Thanks for showing it again. I don't recall seeing it before.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful ! Enjoy the holiday :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your quilt - I had not seen it before. It's a wonderful pattern and amazing fabrics. What a beautiful Independence Day remembrance!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember you sharing it before and even if I did I wouldn't mind seeing this beauty again. Awesome fabric! Happy 4th to you, too. I want to go to bed but the dogs are glued to my side with all the noise from fireworks. Wouldn't be able to sleep now anyway!
ReplyDeleteGlad you shared this quilt. I hadn't seen it and it's really an awesome use of those coverlet fabrics. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteWow, I don't remember seeing this. So beautiful! I was drooling over that fabric line way back when. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of RW&B fabrics. I have some in my Lincoln quilt. I just love all Americana quilts and this one is really special
